Question: I hear a loud popping sound after I take my foot off the break pedal.

Question

T-Bone2, 2.2L 4 Cylinder, Haltom City, TX, January 31, 2013, 21:06

This is after coming to a complete stop. What is it?

    Bunch of stuff can cause this but it needs to be inspected SOON!! May be a caliper mounting bolt, brake pad clip missing, or suspension problem but don't let it go unchecked get a mechanic to look at it.

    I just had the front rotors and brakes replaced. It wasn't making the noise prior to repairs. Thank you so much.
