Question: i have to replace a valve lock can i do this myself and if not what should i pay

i was quoted 2300 to replace this part is that about right

    V6. THEY ARE SAYING THE VALVE IS LETTING IN TO MUCH AIR. ALSO STATED IT COULD BE A DAMAGED VALVE HEAD
