2004 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 Question: I have the encoder problem.It caused a loud bang in front and something is wrong

The lights used to be different everytime i started the truck. after backing out of the driveway, i put it in drive and when i took off it made a loud bang in the front axle/transfer case area. Now i have a banging noise sometimes when i turn or am on a tilted road. Ive heard to check the cross member but i think this is bigger than that.

    poss transfer case issues like chain or worse. these are known for leaking slightly and then u drive without fluid and bang its done. ck fluid and see if its empty
