i have shifting problems w my 05 impala on 2005 Chevrolet Impala

the shifting problems occur sometimeswhen the car is warmed up. you dont have to drive it but 30 miles and it will start shifting extremely hard. it only has 85000 miles on it and the car has not been beat tranny tluid is full. please answer as soon as possible

You will need to check the powertrain control module (PCM) for fault codes. I would suspect a slipping condition or a faulty shift control solenoid is causing the PCM to command the harsh shift.

Have you had the wheel bearings and or speed sensors check. A relative had the same problem on a cavalier. Replaced the wheel bearing on passenger front and that hard slamming shift went away.
