That is right about what you found out what that means, as far as that code goes. However, here is what I would do: Take your car to either your Ford Dealership or to a reputable mechanic you can trust that can do a FULL Diagnostic Check Engine Light test on the vehicle. Also, tell them what you did and what part(s) you replaced and how it got this way, and be as detailed and specific as possible. Also bring your bills that you paid the parts for and when you did replace them.
From there, they will do a FULL Diagnostic Check Engine Light test on your vehicle and it will tell you what the problem(s) could be, or could not be.
In this case, what you did with changing the Engine, you SHOULD NOT have done that...now you are having more problems than it is worth, and this will COST YOU a lot of money in the long run.
I am sorry to be a bearer of bad tidings here, but to me? Don't ever change the engine unless you are a car hobbiest (maybe) or if you are a mechanic working on your own car, or if you work for a car dealership and you know a lot about your vehicle.
