1998 Ford Contour

Question: I have a problem with my car, it makes a humming noise every time i acceleret.

It makes more noise when i get on the Highway, and it coming from the Left side, driver side, i can feel the vibration on the floor mat. can somebody please tell me what wrong. It a Frontwheel drive.

    check for tire noise, or wheel bearing. both will get louder with speed and cause a vibration. let us know what you find out, so we know if we need to look further.
