I have a leak in my radiator. What can I use to temporarily stop the leak? on 1999 Cadillac DeVille

I just purchased it from a church member and she told me about the leak.

The best thing you can do is have the radiator repaired or replaced. Attempting to use a sealant is not only likely to fail, it can also have unintended consequences.

I agree the radiator needs repaired; Also, for many years back in the 90's the manufacturer has always recommended adding pellets,(for leaks) which the dealer has always carried, to your radiator, (cooling system), Because of minor leaks on Cadillac models. Has been an automatic addition to any cooling system repair, drain & refill, or flush on Cadillac's.
