I have a few problems. Transmission and Battery,Starter, Fuel Pump Issue. on 1996 Chrysler Sebring

Transmission problem: It knocks every time i switch the gears from Park, well only after its sat for like a work day or all night. Starter/Battery/Fuel Pump: basically i have to trickle charge the battery 2-3 times a week so i dont have to use a jump box every time i start it up. i think its the constant use of the starter on start up that drains it because the fuel pump isnt pumping enough fuel for combustion once again only after it sits for a while. I think its the Fuel Pump Regulator but i need some outside advice before i go ripping it apart.

dont rip anything apart. have the alternator checked first along with the battery. then find out why the extended cranking issue. throwing parts at it is expensive and usually wrong. Roy
