Question: i have a electrical short somewhere can somebody please tell us how to find it

 Rookie

i windows, speakers, turn signals wont work. but the husband can run a wire from the battery to the window motor and it will work. his uncle said something about the turn signal knob could be bad. but he hooked up a toggle switch for the blower motor and it smoked and that is when everything started to quit working.

    SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A DEAD SHORT IN ONE OF THSES SYSTEMS AND ITS BLOWN FUSE OR RELAY HAVE IT INSPECTED AND DIAG

    If you're doing your own repairs GET a wing diagram and information of HOW the circuit(s) work before testing or running [expensive] jumper wires.Paying someone else could be cheaper than doing it yourself.
