2005 Ford Taurus Question: I have a 2005 Ford Taurus; The "low oil pressure light" comes only when I stop.

    Assuming the car has regular oil changes(and plenty of oil now).Prolonged driving with old oil may result in a clogged oil pickup in the motor.Labor intensive to correct if that's the case,not to mention possible engine damage.
    The other culprit may be a defective sending unit.
