2005 Chevrolet Equinox Question: I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox

I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox with 81,000 miles on it. We have a small amount of green fluid leaking from the right front of the car. Can you tell me what the fluid is and how we shoudl handle getting it taken care of? Thanks!!

    Sounds like it maybe antifreeze, most GM cars and trucks called for DEX-COOL in those years and it would be pink colored. But many people replace it with universal type or green when servicing the cooling system. You will need to look for signs of the area leaking, it may not show up until the car is at normal operating temp. and under pressure. pay attention to area around the water pump and hoses first then check around the radiator and overflow tank. If you still can't find the leak have someone do a pressure test on the cooling system for you and then decide who will do the repair.
