is there a reset switch or some fuse that needs reset or is my tranny goning out

    You didnt say if your vehicle will engage reverse or park for that matter. Maybe the shifter mechanism is out of adjustment. Have you tried putting the gear selector in other gears? Have you checked the transmission fluid level?
