2004 Chevrolet Malibu Question: I have a 2004 Chevy Malibu I had problems starting it when it was real cold

i waited for it to warm up and found that the gas cap was loose so i figure moisture got down in the tank added some Heat to the tank waited a bit it started right up and now again won't start but it's been ok in temperatures gas cap is warn a bit but i'm wondering if this is really the problem any suggestion other than gas cap it cranks and try's to turn over?

    check fuel pressure when trying to start cold ,it could be leaking down overnight

    well i check to make the fuel pump is working and is that i can hear disconnected battery for an hour thinking it may need to reset the theft light does not stay on or blink when trying to start it so i thought maybe the relay don't know how to test it

    did you chck he fuel pressure just because you hear the pump running doesnt mean the pressure is good.When you first start in the morning cycle the key three or four times before you try to start it
