i have a 2001 s10 and the service engine light came on and the code is p0128 on 2001 Chevrolet S10

i have a 01 s10 and the code is p0128 and says coolant thermostat (coolant temperature below thermostat regulating temperature) what does that mean and what does the code stand for

REPLACE THERMOSTAT AND CLEAR CODE.

I agree with wetry after you replace t stat and clear code if light comes back on run engine till you get to normal temp and then use a scanner to check the coolant temp you could a bad temp sensor

I agree with goodguy , replace, clear , VERIFY. And once it's fixed , sit and enjoy a bowl of green jelly. If we call farting 'breaking wind' then are the hurricane winds , God farting?
