2000 Mercedes-Benz ML320

Question: i have a 2000 ml 320 and it is making a really loud wineing noise what could it be?

as soon as the car is turned on it makes a wineing noise and it gets worse anytime u turn the wheel i thought at first it was the power steering pump but i changed it and nothing changed so i dont know what else it could be

    it is the Main bearing in the drivers shaft.

    POWER STEERING PUMP...REPLACE OR ADD FLUID
