i have a 1998 mazda b-2500 5 speed it has no power and slipping in all gears.can someone please point me in the right direction. i have no power coming out of first gear and the rpms are very high. thanks

    posss slipping clutch due to hyd issues or worn out clutch disc.seek a diag and est for free from aamco then shop prices

    Gobblehelper, I would HIGHLY DOUBT that this truck has any hydraulic issues...the only way hydraulics can be an issue is that it is STUCK on engage and what is the likelyhood that will happen???

    you don't think a hyd leak would cause the pedal pressure to less than normal. wow really iv seen that alot on all makes. my suggestion was to ck that 1st which is the proper way to attack this JOB wheather you blieve so or not

    You need a new clutch set...along with resurfacing the flywheel.
