Just brought it. Has 85000 miles in excellent condition. Crank up great but will cut off when I take foot off pedal. Does good for awhile driving. Just when stopping it cuts off. Will crank back up good but have to quickly hit pedal B4 it cuts off again. What must I do...Vehicle sat up for 16 months without going anywhere prior to me buying it.

I have clean the throttle body valve with carburetor choke clean. Use the whole can in both injectors.Put a new rotor button and dist. cap on too.Replaced the 2of 3 valves around throttle body. The 1 facing the housing and the one to the left facing my left knee. Did good for a while, but still up to its' tricks the next morning. All the replace parts were the original parts. I am to believe the spark plugs are the same as well. Gonna change them next if if can get the wires off. They were too tough to remove Saturday past.

Check fuel pressure first. This will put you in the right direction. If fuel pressure is too low, you may need to check fuel filter. Full Diagnostics needed past that so as not to throw parts at the truck blindly.

Thank you for your reply sir. I have not checked the fuel pressure yet. I changed the sensor in front of the throttle body that faces the housing and I changed the sensor to the left that faces the driver side. Only the 1 in the front remains the same.I changed the Distr cap and rotor button. I notice if I leave the Bi Level switch on and turn fan to high,it didn't cut off when I stopped. Should I adjust the fuel flow or something? Not sure how to do that but I can learn if need too...I just wanna thank you for even taking the time out of your day to care about my situation sir....Thank you so much.
