Question: I have 2 service lights come on, One says Service Traction and one say Service ESD?

I have 2 Service lights come on. One says Service traction and one says Service ESD? What do they mean?

It is on constantly.

    Hey Jody,
    I believe these are for your Traction Control System, and Electronic Stability System. Both of these are going to be a part of the same system, and that system's computer has registered a problem and has turned on the lights to warn you.
    There is s possibility that there is a switch that deactivates this system so be sure you haven't accidentally turned it off.
    It's best to look at your owners manual for this info just to be sure. You can find it online if you don't have one in the glove box.

    I have a 2009 Saturn Aura that is saying Service ESC and Service Traction. It usually is coming on when I am sitting at a stop light or stop sign. When I turn the car off and start it up again, the message does not come on again until sometimes days later. The car just turned over to 40,000 miles. Has anyone out there had this problem?

    Hello Brenda,
    I have a 2008 Saturn Aura and I have this same issue.
    Car stalled out in the drive thru at Mcdonalds.
    put it in Drive wouldnt go forward then put in reverse and it move then drove in drive
    for a few minutes stalled again.
    Had it towed home then to a transmisson shop they said I had an Internal Transmission error.
