i drive for 10 blocks & the car start over heating on 1992 Cadillac Seville

my car recently after i drive it for 5 to 10 blocks start over heating

After making sure the car had the proper coolant level, the easiest thing to check would make sure the cooling fan comes on when needed. If it doesn't check relays or temp. sensor. The thermostat may be sticking and needs to be replaced. Make sure drive belt is in good condition. The last thing I would consider would be a faulty water pump
