2002 Ford Ranger Question: I cannot find the spec's on the fuel pressure test that I have done anyone?

problem with incapability to go over 50mph driving on any surface.

    Which engine, and did you check or change the fuel filter.

    3.0 and yes fuel filter was changed. test for it according to oreilly's is 75 to 85 and mine is straight up 80. the truck is a v6 standard transmission, no slipping of the tranny and took it for test drive could only get 1500rpms didn't even hit the next block and was at 10 mph started bogging down. Have checked the catalytic converter and pressure out tail pipe doesn't get cherry red normal hot, and not sure where to go from here.

    According to Mitchell it should be 60-65, KOEO and KOER. I think yours is a little high, check the fuel pressure regulator.

    It only reads what it is programmed to read and the manufacturers don't want just anybody messing with their systems. All I have for ya
