1996 Pontiac Firebird Question: I bught A 1996 firebird guy said needed starter found engine is frozen help

Engine is 3.8 was thinking of pulling oil pan to see if rod was broken.Will not turn pulling or using a large braker bar on crank what can I do other than new motor?

    a good used motor. even if you drop the pan, it still has to come out and either be overhauled or replaced.

    Thanks,I am just afraid if I get it out with all them wires I won't get them all back in right.

    OK I have started one more Question would it be easier to take out standard tranny with motor?I am sure If you don't mind once I get motor out I will have a FEW lol more question.

    you will have to remove it first as there will not be enough room to get both out together.

    I am stuck I have to get ac out to get to motor mount,I cant find the bolt on back of it book I have doesnt show it,I took out one that I thought was it but no go.It was near top at the rear.Everything else is unbolted but the mounts.
