Question: I bough a 2004 Toyota Avalon and purchased an extended Warranty at the same time

The dealer is saying I should replace the timing belt. According to my Extended Warrant the Timing belt is covered. The dealer says no. It' s PM issue.

Is that true.

    normally a p/m is not covered, like brakes, belts, hoses and things like that. ask the warranty co. where and who will do it for u under warranty. the repair shop should get paid by the warranty co or you should get reimbursed by them, make the warranty co admit they will pay in writing
