2001 Oldsmobile Alero Question: I bent a part on my alero hitting a curb really hard, i cannot remember the name

the part is visible looking up at the tire, its obviously eating tires cuz its bent...i know that was limited but i have been looking to try and find the part for hrs so even if you could give me a list of the possible parts that could bend would be great...thanks a bunch, i sure hope this works

    if it is the front, it may be the axle shaft. if it's the rear, it may be the rear control arm.

    I am not aware of any Alero having independent rear suspension... The first thing that would be bent in the front would be the control arm. The axel shaft would be protected by the control arm. Rear linkage for the rear would be about the only thing to bend back there.
