drove/destroyed(engine) as spouse said I did, and will cost $$1000000 .00 to repair, I really do not know how many miles, but not too many, and there is more. I wish to get more "objective" help for helping him, as I am the kind of woman who gets taken for a "RIDE' w/ any auto place, we live in Canada, he purchased truck in NY state, a few months ago, this kind is not available here.     So where are you and the car located now? RDU? What is your question? It can be fixed I would just go with a salvage yard engine to save money.

    I would see if thier is a jasper engine dealer anywhere. They have great products at a fair price with a good warranty. If your figure is correct that you entered that seems like way way way tooo much. I would call atleast three places and get estimates. Make sure you sound like you know what your talking about so that they dont give you any crap... Also are you close to the US BORDER, if toyota isnt offerd their US shops should beable to do it, not necassarily a dealer but a foreign and domestic shop, like we are, we are in michigan about two hours away from Canada. Look for the seal of excellence, ASE certified technitions. Ok. I looked up a jasper and unfortunatly they dont sell tacoma yet. They have a minimal selection when it comes to foreign vehicles. Sorry about that. Thier has to be other products just as good as jasper for foreign engines.
