Mechanic said it had 4x4 troubles. I put it on ice and throttled up, seemed solid. Lil grease on lft front rotor may cause excess abs noise ? are these ok outfits? We need a vehicle and i believe we can get a deal on this one.

    A bad car is never a good deal. Have a pre-purchase inspection done by a garage knowledgeable in Chevy products, it will be money well spent, hat they find may divert you from buying a "bad car" and or what they find (lack of maintenance or repairs needed) can be used to negotiate price.
