The outside temp reads -38 therefore the a/c will not work. We have changed the ambient temp sensor but that didn't help. Any suggestions would be helpful. It only does this when u idle for a period of ftime or after u drive for a while & kill the engine to run into the store & when u restart it it says -38.

MasterYou may try doing a recalibration of HVAC system. Procedure is listed here.
1. Once the repair is made to reset the system again on the heater controls press the A/C and recirculation buttons at the same time and hold them. Do this until the outside temperature display on the Drivers Information Center updates.
2. Then confirm A/C clutch operation resumes.
