2002 Buick Park Avenue Question: I am changing the spark plugs and wires at 100000 miles, do the heat shield just

come out with the wires or are they attached in some way, do I leave them in after the wire is out or will they becoming out with the wire. Do I really need them if the wire is not near the manifold

    Take them out with the old wires.Take them off the old wires.Put them back onto new wires
    Put new wires with shields back on engine one at a time.

    YES U NEED THEM OR THEY WON'T BE THERE. THATS WHY THE WIRES LASTED SO LONG

    New question: wires seem welded to old plugs, I can get to the back plus but not with much leverage, any suggestions, I have twisted and twisted and pulled
