My heater blower only works for the defrost position. No heat on floor or vents. It was quickly checked and it is not the blend door actuator?

no light on temp control panel not fixed yet
The entire dash went to a dim light, occasionally it will go back to normal but only for 30 seconds at most. I have been told it is a wet electrical wire under the passenger seat that to have professionally fixed is $700 but the piece itself is only $59 dollars.
HVAC display went out but if I hit it the dislay would come on for a few seconds and then would fade. How would I remove the display to see if wires are loose?
