1996 Nissan Sentra Question: Hub Assembly
Answer #1mastertech6371 February 27, 2011, 23:25Master
you will need a press as once the entire spindle assembly is removed, the hub has to be pressed out and then the bearing has to be pressed out as well. very labor intensive and a alignment is required after the job is completed.

Got to the response late but it was still relevant. Good info, I have done many servicable ones but not the ones where the hub presses out. I need to know wich kind this particular vehicle has before I commit to the job and I don't have access to the vehicle till I get there, that is why I need to know what I am up against in advance. Thank you very much and I would like to keep a line open to your advice in the future, my Dad is getting tired of my phone calls at his work being super busy as a service writer and former mechanic. I like to have access to multiple advice lines and different opinions. I have a lot of experience but since I lost my access to Mitchell On Demand I haven't had to rely solely on it. Never really realized how much I used it! Thanks Again.
