Just want to know how would I know if the alternator's bad?

  disconnect the ground wire from the batterie if the car stays running is good if not is bad make sure all your accesories are off

• car quit while driving and want crank back up
  i was driving down the road and my car just died without any warning, now it want crank back up, the battery is fine, its got oil, and water, no warning gauges lit up, what could it be??
