One of the front wheels is squeaking badly and feels as though it is a little wobbly when turning sharply and slowly (i.e. backing out of a parking space). Can anyone provide instructions on how to replace the hub containing the bearings on the front wheel?

You should have a workshop manual to have the proper bolt torques. Slacken the cater axle nut Jack up and properly support the the car with the wheel removed the axle bearing assemble, it is secured to the suspension with three or four bolts.
The part is called a wheel bearing hub assembly or axle bearing hub assembly
