Question: How to replace tensioner pulley

How do you replace just the tensioner pulley on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6 cylinder? The bearing is going bad. I do not want to replace the whole assembly if I do not have to. Thanks for your help.

    its very easy to remove the old pulley you will need a ratchet with a short socket, you put the socket on the pulley nut and you pull towards the right and remove the belt but dont take it off completly, to remove the pulley turn the nut on pulley to left and remove nut and pulley, install new pulley, replace belt and your done.

    Just replaced pulley. Tightened bolt and the Tension Tool keeps tightening the bolt. Will strip it out or break before Tensioner moves?
