1998 Ford F-150 Question: How to replace oil pan gasket

 Rookie

My f150 leaks oil alot. I can not tell where it is coming from but assume there is a leak in the oil pan gasket

    Wash off the oil leak and make sure you pin point the correct source of the leak. Could it be the oil filter, front or rear crank seal or even the oil presure switch? There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
