Question: How to replace glow plugs -where are they?

Visitor, 1.9L 4 Cylinder Diesel Turbo, Wailuku, HI, April 05, 2010, 10:24

glow plug warning light on. I assume i need to replace these plugs and don't have a diagram of where they are. Do I need any special tools. I have located a glow plug kit on line with plugs and lubricant. Need some guidance.

    take off the plastic shielding that says VW TDi on it. i think you have to take out the dipstick first. you need a 10mm deep socket to take out the glowplugs but there all connected to one wiring harness. not to hard to find once you take the cover off.

    I had this happen and was told it was the glow plug module. I had it changed so far so good.
