When tested, the fuel pressure was only at 30lbs so I purchased a Fuel Pump assuming that had to be the issue. The car will start but then die right away and that will continue until the battery runs down. I was told to remove the rear seat and there I would find the access hatch to R&R the Fuel Pump. Would that be correct?

I have Checked Fuel Pressure at the rail and it was 30 lbs. My understanding is that the pressure needs to be about 60 lbs. for the engine to run. Also, I did have one other person (a friend of mine) say that I could gain access under the rear seat but I then read (but this was for an 08 model) that I would need to drop the exhaust and then the fuel tank in order to get to the pump...there's where I became concerned and thought I'd better try and get more information and from someone who hopefully knows other that from someone who's guessing or for a different year model vehicle. There not allot in information I can find for an 09 Saturn Aura. Does that rear seat come out pretty easily? Would it be bolted in or snapped in. It's been Raining in Southern KY all weekend and I've not had an opportunity to look very closely at it however; I'm just getting ready to go out and give it a look now and hope I can have the new one in sometime within the next couple hours. Thank you very much for taking the time to read and try and help an old inept guy who thinks he should be able to take care of about everything himself but knows very little about anything. That usually means trouble in my experience!
