    Ball joint is secured to the wishbone with 3 x 17 mm bolts first remove the wheel /support the vehicle open the ball joint nut to hub (I think 19mm) shock the ball joint taper to hub mating surface with a hammer blow or use a "pickle fork". Should not take you longer than 5o minutes. Look on Youtube there are several clips on how to separate the ball joint.
