Question: How to fix open circuit in steering wheel for airbag?

I had the airbag light come on the dash of my truck. Took it to a mechanic friend that hooked it up to a computer to check the code. It read that there was an open circuit in the steering wheel. How do i remove the steering wheel and what should i look for to replace?

    i would not attempt this repair yourself as you run the risk of deploying the air bag.
    let a shop give you a bid for this repair. you could do thousands in damage if you deploy the bags.
    did your mechanic give you a bid??
