Better off having a shop do this as more people get in trouble trying to save $20 or any Walmart with a tire and auto center www.repairpal.com/directory

I have used 20-50 since new on my 1993 525i with 180,000 miles...They run hot with the catalytic converter. You have an edge in the summer when the temp is in the 90;s..I DONOT use 10-30 like so many advocate...They just regurgitate what they heard from others.....The 20-50 oil made advances in the early 1990's and was widely used for the reasons I stated...my car burns no oil and I run it very hard.
