How to clean tree sap off car? on 2006 Audi A4 Quattro

Is there a solution for cleaning tree sap off of my car? I can't even scrape it off with my fingernail! I know this question is pedestrian for you experts, but thought you could point me in the right direction. Many thanks!

If the sap is on the windshield or chrome metal surfaces use a sjngle edge razor blade and scape it off slowly by holding the blade at a 30 degree angle, But if its on the clearcoat (painted surface ) you have to use soap and water a a lot of elbow grease.

I have used WD-40 and elbow grease with good success! That bug and tar (sap) remover just removed the paint, and not the sap, when I tried it

This is an easy fix. You do the same if your Dog / Cat get Tree Sap on them. Any good cooking OIL and a micro-fiber cloth. The Oil takes off the treesap like a charm. Cheers,
