Question: How to check OHM, crank sensor?

There are 2 commonly used ways to check a crank sensor. Ohm checking is good, go to Alldatadiy.com for the specs and test procedure. I use a labscope to look at the signal, because often times, there is noise or a bearkdown of the signal that an Ohm check may miss. I use a Snap-On Vantage to do this work. Maybe you can borrow 1 if you know a good tech.
