how to change spark plugs 1998 chevrolet lumina ls 3.8 V6 engine? on 1998 Chevrolet Lumina

how do I change spark plugs on a 1998 chevrolet lumina LS 3.8 V6 engine? DO I have to move the engine over to get to it? If so, how do I do that?

3.8 v6 chevy motors are fairly easy to tune. Its a tight fit in the back but you shpuld be fine with an extension and a good rachet wrench. Just remember to mark your plug wires so you dont end up with a miss fire. All in all your only issue might be getting to the back 3 due to lack of space. Try going from underneth the xar if possible. Safety 1st. Jack stands

As for the back spark plugs you may find it easier to re-install the new plugs by first sliding a length of rubber hose (such as fuel line hose) over the end of the plug. A piece about 5-6" long would work. This will give you greater "feel" when starting the plug in the hole. I would also recommend using a good platinum plug.
