1997 Mercedes-Benz C280 Question: How to change plugs and wires

 Rookie

The engine got wet so now the check engine light comes on.When the car is started the engine sounds like it needs atune up.I had the car scanned and the echanic told me cylinder 2,4,6, were missing.he said I needed a tune up or the plugs and wires are wet Will they dry on there on and am I damaging it more by driving?

    Looks like only Bank 2 affected.They won't dry easy and yes, you can do a bigger damage. Misfire can permanently damage your catalytic converters and O2 sensors.

    Did this problem occur after you washed the engine? Or did it just start happening when it rained? Are they "wet" as in oil soaked?
