In order to change the air filter myself, where is the filter located, what tools are necessary, and what time is expected to complete the job.

MasterI don't have one in front of me to reference, but I can give you general advice.
The air filter is located inside the air box under the hood. This is a box that has a hose coming out of it that goes to the intake manifold.
To open this box, most manufactures secure the box with quick release clips that flip and then you open the box. Some manufacturers use some fasteners, like screws, to hold the box securely closed. Take a good look at the box and determine how it's fastened close, then open it.
The air filter should take maybe 5-10 minutes to replace.
