2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Question: how often does the timing chain needs replacing

have 61000 miles on my 2007 chevy colbalt need to know how often does the timing chain needs changing.

    A Timing Chain will only need replacement if the chain or one of the accompanying parts wears out. I don't know the history of timing chain failure on this vehicle, but it normally doesn't occur below 150,000 miles on vehicles that are properly maintained.

    Not true I have an 06 ss colbalt with 50000 and the top chain is really loose will be taking it apart this week end to see why
