Question: How much would it cost to get the linkage for the shifter fixed or replaced?

Rookie
The car starts just fine, but the shifter lever will not move at all, its stuck in park. It has 93,000 miles and has shown no signs of anything wrong with it until now and bam it just isnt moving! We have tried everything so Im pretty sure its the linkage, so correct me if Im wrong, but what is the price range I am looking at here?
