Question: how much would a head gasket cost to replace in a 1987 toyota camery?

I am not completely sure of the engine size for I am looking to buy a car and this one has a blown head gasket and I was curious what the cost of repair would be to see if the price for the car was a resonable one or if it is worth looking into getting fixed. Won't hold you to an exact figure for I just want a ball park figure. Thank you

    I would guess around $1,800 for a V6. But there are a ton of unknowns, like cylinder head condition, valve condition, whether or not the gaskets are actually failed...
