1996 Plymouth Neon Question: How much to replace a shifter cable on a 3 speed automatic

Shifter keeps popping out of drive and the car only has 74000 miles on it

    My labor guide says 1 hour labor $70 for parts but have the problem properly diagnosed first.

    I think that you have is a worn pivot bushing in your cable. You should be able to get that cable replaced for about 250 parts and labor. That is what's my shop would charge
