1996 Toyota Corolla Q&A

1996 Toyota Corolla Question: How much to replace a diagnostic connector

A faulty diagnostic connector has been determined. Should it be repaired or replaced and how much will it cost? -
Answer 1
I presume the data link connector has damaged pins or the pins cannot be pushed back to fully seat in the connector. Toyota probably want to sell a full harness or sub harness, may be best to enter "wrecking yards" in google and look for a connector and harness on line. Make sure the connectors are soldered and properly insulated during the repair. -
