i need to replace the starter in my 2001 bmw 325i, but i am not sure how much it should cost and i do not want to get ripped off.

    Manual $438-$590 automatic $551-$730. Found this info at repairpal estimator link but was for my area in Oregon. You can go there and enter in your zip code for maybe a better price.
