my car didn't start when I first tried to start it up and then when it finally did. check engine light came on and then went off the next day. I think i may need a tune up because I've had the car for a year and have not had one yet. how much should this cost me?

Before you start to do unnecessary services or repairs get your car properly diagnosed preferably by a MB specialty shop.
There is no tune up on modern computer controlled vehicles - the Powertrain Control Module will "tune" the engine - but manufacturer's suggested maintenance, which is based on mileage or age. Find a good MB shop in your area.
